Exedy Stage 2 sports clutch kits are designed to withstand the misuse of modified high-power engines while maintaining proper maneuverability. The cera-metallic friction material can withstand much more abuse than stock-type disc assemblies without slipping or fading. All Exedy Stage 2 metal clutch discs have spring-loaded shock absorbers to reduce the shocks transmitted by the transmission. Clutch disc Made from a unique metal configuration and low-density metal material, the T5001 Carbonrich, S-Type cerammetallic discs are designed to be lightweight. The inertia is 10% lower compared to the original part. Stage 2 discs have excellent heat dissipation characteristics
Clutch cover The clutch covers of the Single series are designed to achieve a clamping load that is about 40% higher than the original part, allowing for a higher torque capacity. Ductile material is used for all pressure plates and high burst resistance can be achieved in all temperature ranges. Main advantages A 10% reduction in inertia compared to the original part. Up to 40% increase in torque capacity compared to the norm. Clamping load about 40% higher than that of the standard clutch.
